Drawing on a range of research from neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy, he presents a highly original new account of consciousness.   I really enjoyed 'My Wicked Enemy', right up to the point fairly near the end when our heroine added a second man to her bed. This seemed an almost entirely gratuitous and pointless scene for the overall plot and didn't fit in well with the idea of one-man-one-woman that the rest of the book suggested and overall with the sexual content of this kind of book/5(5).

The nature of this bond is a major element of parts of the story. He rode on his back. This imagine was on the cover. In fact, it's his main method of travelling. Mindmelding is achieved when we allow one person's executive processes to interact with the conscious states of another person. Mindmelding does not require exotic metaphysical hypotheses, or unheard-of physical processes in the brain. It can be described using existing mental verbs, such as ‘aware’ and our existing notions of causality, matter, and truth.
